This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the BlueInk Reviews website. On some pages, you can order products, order advertisements, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

• Information about your book and your book's history

We use the contact information and credit card information you provide when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties, except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use the email addresses you provide in the ways specified on the site, including to answer email we receive, to deliver a PDF of your review, to add you to our database, to send email updates about new products and services, and to contact you, if you requested, about advertising and marketing opportunities. Any email newsletter or auto-response e-mail campaign we send you will always have simple and clear “opt-out” option listed.

We use other information you provide about yourself and your book only to categorize your book and make it easily found by site users. For example, when you provide your hometown, we list the region of the country that database is in as a searchable data field, so that if a librarian or bookseller seeks books whose authors live in a your town, your book will appear when your region is searched.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Once you have ordered a review, your payment is non-refundable, except under the following circumstances:

• BlueInk does not provide a review within the time frame specified after notifying you that BlueInk has received two copies or your book or your pdf. Under this circumstance, provided no "Act of God" or other uncontrollable circumstance has interfered with BlueInk's ability to provide your review, we will ask you to notify BlueInk, via email, that you have not received your review. If we haven't remedied the situation within 30 days, let us know and we will refund your payment.
• Your review is filled with substantive factual errors that impact the integrity of the review. For example, if the reviewer says, "This author who worte the book in December, did a fine job" and you actually wrote the book in January, we would not consider this to be a substantive error (however, we would correct it promptly upon your notifying us!). If the reviewer wrote: "This author, who set the book in December, should have known it was cold outside" and you set your story in July, this would be a substantive error. Int the case of substantive factual errors, when you notify us please let us know if you like us to assign a new reviewer, or simply refund your money.
